It is designed to accommodate students from a wide variety of backgrounds and diverse disciplines who want to enhance their career prospects in the hospitality industry but also, due to the broad nature of the programme, in general business management. Program Structure
The taught programme is made up of six months. The initial modules are delivered jointly with the other MBA programs so as to provide a common platform of interaction and team learning. During these modules, the students get the basic managerial knowledge and skills. In the second part of the same semester, the students learn the modules on their specialization in the field of Hotel and Tourism. The focus modules are specific to the hospitality industry and give the program its distinctive flavour.
Students spend the second academic semester in a company project either as an internship in a hospitality industry and defend a professional MBA thesis before a competent jury. The students can alternatively choose to undertake a research project in the field of hospitality and related industry and defend an MBA dissertation.
